The discipline of learning
From time to time I have had parents ask why their kids are not constantly moving. Great question ... and I only get this question with new coaches. There are 2 main reasons:
The coach must master control of their class before they build on the pace and quantity of movement. Without doing this first, you only increase the risk of accidents.
Our focus is not primarily on movement. We are going for scale over volume.
When you turn up the pace of a class that has poorly directed movement .... all you end up with is more un-productive or dis-organised movement,
So movement just for the sake of it is not the answer.
The discipline of learning involves more than just constant movement!
